SHINee preview 6 of 9 songs from ‘Dream Girl’ through ‘Melon Premiere SHINee Music Spoiler’

SHINee previewed 6 out of 9 songs from their upcoming album ‘Dream Girl.
On the 14th, the boys held their ‘Melon Premiere SHINee Music Spoiler‘. The event ran for about 1 hour, and revealed 6 out of the 9 songs. The tracklist was also revealed, which included the songs “Spoiler“, “Beautiful“, “I Can’t Leave“, and “Hitchhiking“. The boys revealed the song and lyrics for the songs, and even sang “I Can’t Leave” live. The 100 music reviewers present also gave a very warm response to the song.

SHINee also revealed the choreography for the title song “Dream Girl“. As said before, the title song “Dream Girl” is an acid electro funk song, and is produced by Justin Bieber’s producerShin Hyuk and his team Joombas Music Factory. The big point of the dance was their standing mic dance. They got on top of mics, and even twirled them around in sync. The making of music video also showed them jumping on trampolines and using running machines.

The visual art director stated, “The album jacket shows the fantasies of the members. It has the members’ own images and the ideal types they look for. Please break your misconceptions and prior judgement you have on SHINee.
SHINee revealed, “It’s our first full album that we’re releasing in a while, so we worked really hard. Minho and Key worked on the rap, Jonghyun worked on the lyrics, and Taemin worked on the choreography. The members all worked on the vocal parts. We all know each other well, so we were able to complete the best product.

The third album will be split into two versions. The first part will be released physically on the 20th, and will be called ‘Chapter 1. Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of You‘. In April, the 2nd part will be released, called ‘Chapter 2. Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of Me‘.

The SHINee members said, “From a production stand point, we wanted to express ‘Misconceptions of you’ in the first chapter and ‘Misconception of me’ in the second chapter. The two albums have a lot of stories about ‘misconceptions’. It’s a very SHINee-esque image, please look forward to our future activities.

INFINITE‘s Sunggyu, L, Sungyeol, Hoya, and Dongwoo have all graduated from Daekyung University.

The five were accepted into the university’s music department back in 2011. All the members studied Practical Music, and they’ve received a lot of attention because they were attending the same university with the same major. Even though they were busy with schedules, the members always attended their classes and also took their midterms and finals diligently. They also taught vocals, dance, and performance skills to their fellow students while they were at school.

Professor Kim Gun Pyo from the university said, “They will be receiving the ‘Proud Daekyung University Student’ award in hopes that INFINITE will grow into a group that increases the prestige of the university. They are a popular idol group that chose Daekyung University as a group, and have graduated.

Because Hoya and Dongwoo are busy with INFINITE-H schedules, only L, Sungyeol, and Sunggyu will be attending the graduation ceremony on the 15th.

SHINee‘s MinhoZE:A‘s Dongjun, DMTN‘s Simon, and BTOB‘s Minhyuk put on one of the fiercest competition of the Idol Star Athletics Championship during the 70m hurdles race!

In the beginning of the race, Minho jumped a bit too early probably due to nerves, and his early jump caused him to land prematurely and trip over the hurdle, putting him out of the contending for a medal. His disqualification shocked everyone, including the professional commentators, who had expected Minho to win the event, and instead, underdog, rookie Minhyuk, came in to steal the show.

Host and fellow labelmate, B2ST‘s Yoseob had viewers laughing as he commented, “I never knew someone from our agency would win a gold medal.” He also asked Minhyuk to ask their CEO for a favor, and when Minhyuk simply asked their boss to use BTOB for as many opportunities as he could, Yoseob whispered, “No, you’re going to be used anyways, ask for something more.. like meat, ask for meat.”

Minhyuk then asked, “Actually, could you treat all of us out to a meal?” pleasing his fellow labelmates.

When he was asked, “Have you bought tickets before?“, Onew answered confidently, “Yes and I have all the electronic tickets.
