Rookie group EXCITE releases debut single ‘Try Again’

EXCITE, another new rookie group hoping to leave their mark on the industry, has just released their three-track debut single, ‘Try Again‘.

The group had previously released two music videos for their title track “Try Again” which the group has already been promoting on music programs. Now EXCITE has released the other two tracks on their single, a short Intro track and “Let us just…“.

EXCITE is Penta Entertainment‘s first male idol group, and is made up of members Seunguk, Minhoo, Sihyuk, Beat, and Tae.G. In a recent interview, the group explained that they were against the ‘mysterious’ and far-from-reach concept that boy groups often take to look cool and plans to instead be warm and friendly to get closer with their fans.

EXCITE ditches the mysterious concepts to be a warm and friendly group

Five member rookie boy group EXCITE recently released their debut music video for “Try Again earlier this month.

The boys, who all stand at an average height of 180 cm, explained that their name was an expression of the excitement that can be brought about with good music and a high quality performance.

EXCITE’s agency explained, “Since the planning stages for the group, we put the utmost focus on their music as well as fitting the characters of each of the members into the current trends. We created a style that is completely unique to EXCITE.”

The group is against the ‘mysterious’ and far-from-reach concept that boy groups often take to look cool and plans to instead be warm and friendly to get closer with their fans.

EXCITE will kick off official promotions starting October 22nd.

Woollim Entertainment reveals mysterious photos featuring INFINITE’s L, Sungyeol, and Sunggyu

Before the unveiling of the mysterious video teaser asking “What’s the next big thing?“, Woollim Entertainment has also released a few mysterious photos as well, leaving fans to wonder if there may be a connection between the new video teaser and the photos.

On the 24th, the agency posted a picture of INFINITE‘s Sunggyu with the comment, “October 24th, 2012 Wednesday. We’re back with the photo you waited for! The main character of the photo is Sunggyu!! Have a good day and look forward to tomorrow’s photo!

This comes after the previous tweets the agency posted on the 22nd and 23rd featuring pictures of members L and Sungyeol.

They wrote with L’s picture, “October 22nd, 2012 Monday Spend an enjoyable afternoon with INFINITE’s L’s picture! Starting from today, for a week, look forward to the members’ pictures that will be revealed one by one ^ㅡ^“.

With Sungyeol’s photo, they wrote, “October 23rd, 2012 Tuesday is Sungyeol’s photo! It got really cold after it rained yesterday ^^ Everyone, be careful of colds and look forward to tomorrow’s photo ^^”

What is intriguing is that each member is holding up a sign each with a different syllable. L’s says “Na” while Sungyeol’s says “Neung”, and Sunggyu’s reads “Dae”. So far, the letters mean nothing, but fans are looking forward to completing the phrase with all 7 members.

What do you think these letters could mean?
