Teen Top’s L.Joe Asks Someone (?) to Stop Stalking Him

Sometimes, enough is enough, and Teen Top’s L.Joe has put his foot down.

On June 9, L.Joe tweeted, “I wanted to watch the movie with a good mood~ but because you sat right next to the seat I purchased, I had to move my seat many times. Go home safely.”

He later added, “From the dorm to the movies… Honestly, it’s uncomfortable that you follow my personal life. Please refrain from it.”

While the context of the tweets seem like L.Joe is warning sasaeng fans, due to fellow member Chunji’s replies to the tweets, the situation became a bit hazy.

For each of L.Joe’s tweets, Chunji wrote, “I’m sorry. T” and “That’s right, that’s right,” making it a bit confusing to whether the stalker fan that L.Joe was referring to was actually Chunji or a real sasaeng fan.

Were the Teen Top members just merely playing around with each other? Or is L.Joe actually a victim of sasaeng fans crossing the line, like Niel was?

Teen Top’s Niel and His Mom Discuss the Scandal Involving Girl Group Member “S” from JYP

On the recent episode of KBS’s “Happy Sunday – Mamma Mia,” which was aired on May 26, Teen Top’s Niel and his mother appeared as special guests.

During the show Niel’s mother mentioned Niel’s recent scandal. On MBC’s “Radio Star” on May 8, Shinhwa’s Andy revealed that a girl group member “S” from JYP Entertainment has showed interest in Niel romantically.

Niel’s mother said, “(Niel) had a hard time. Unintentionally, he has hurt some people, and there was nothing he could say at the time to help. He was depressed.”

Niel stated, “This was my first (scandal), and so I didn’t know what to do. There were a lot of things people misunderstood.”

Niel’s mother added, “I felt helpless, and there was nothing I could say. In addition, there were other things that were going on at the time. That was a very long week. Niel asked me and his father not to argue because of this incident, and he tried to console us. He was having the most difficult time, yet he tried to help us. At that moment, I knew he has matured a lot.”

She then told Niel, “As we live, there will be even greater hardships we must face, but we will always endure them with optimism.”  
   
Fans that saw this episode commented, “Niel must’ve had a difficult time,” and “A careless remark caused so many problems.”

TEEN TOP‘s Niel had fans squealing over the cuteness that is L.Joe‘s baby photo.

Niel shared his fellow member’s baby photo on Twitter with the message, “L.Joe hyung. [Teehee]!!!!!!!!!” 

The photo shows L.Joe back when he was just beginning to learn how to walk. Baby L.Joe also made sure to turn around and smile for the camera, showing that he had star quality even as an infant.

L.Joe also tweeted the same photo and shared, “I found this photo of Byung Hun (L.Joe’s real name) at my house.”

Now all grown up, TEEN TOP recently brought down the house at their first solo concert in Korea earlier this month.

TEEN TOP brings down the house at Korea University for their 1st solo concert

After three years since their debut, TEEN TOP held their first solo concert in Korea!

TEEN TOP kicked off their ‘2013 TEEN TOP No.1 Asia Tour‘ at Korea University in Seoul on May 11-12.

TEEN TOP opened up the concert with their latest single “Miss Right“, and continued to energize the audience with performances of “Walk By…” and “I Wanna Love“. The group also greeted fans and shared how excited and nervous they were about their first live concert.

Following their performances of “Beautiful Girl“, “Baby U“, and “Girl Friend“, the group surprised fans by splitting into subunits for their stages. Niel, Chunji, and Changjo performed “Hello“, Ricky sang “If It’s You“, Chunji sang “Are You Doing Well“, and last but not least, Niel and C.A.P performed a musical remake of “Two Melodies“.


The boys then made a 180 degree transformation for the second act of their concert by going strong with their debut song “Clap” and “Supa Luv“. During TEEN TOP’s performance of “Angel“, their fans surprised them with a special video message, bringing the group to tears. The group also put on their best girl group cover with a sexy performance of SISTAR19‘s “Gone Not Around Any Longer“.

The group sang a total of 30 songs throughout the two-hour long concert and finished the show with a bang by performing “Crazy” and encore stages of Be Ma Girl” and “Shake It!”

TEEN TOP will continue on their tour and move on to Kobe, Japan on the 18th, Tokyo on the 21st-22nd, and more!

Teen Top’s Ricky Would Like To Go to School If He Had a Break

Idol group Teen Top, who just held their first solo concert, “2013 Teen Top No.1 Asia Tour,” in Seoul on May 12 discussed what they would like to do if they were given a break after the concert tour.

C.A.P showed his affection for sports saying, “I want to learn sports. I want to play sports and do other cultural activities.”

Niel responded, “I like to travel so I want to travel to another country this time.” Chunji added, “I like to travel too so I want to go to another country and experience the different culture.”

L.Joe and Changjo said that they would like to work on music if they were given a break after the tour. L.Joe said, “I want to earnestly focus on composing music. I won’t be coming out of my room for a while.” Changjo stated, “I want to work on music with my friend and also produce a dance video.

Lastly, Ricky stated a small but heartfelt wish, saying,  ”Since I am still a student, I want to go to school. I want to spend time with a lot of friends at school.”

After the Seoul leg of their tour, Teen Top will be performing in Japan- May 18 in Kobe and May 21-22 in Tokyo.

Teen Top Successfully Holds First Solo Concert “TEEN TOP No.1 Asia Tour in Seoul”

Idol group Teen Top showed that they are all grown up in their first solo concert.

On May 11 and 12 the group held their first solo concert in Seoul as part of their “TEEN TOP No.1 Asia Tour.” Thousands of their fans packed the stadium to watch what Teen Top has prepared the past three years since their debut.

The group opened their concert with the title track of their first full album, “Miss Right” and then went into “Walk by…” and “I Wana Love.” With these songs Teen Top started their concert energetically and excitedly. 

They then performed “Baby U“, “Beautiful Girl“, and “Girlfriend” and switched to a more relaxing atmosphere. However, the group aroused jealousy from their fans when they danced with the female dancers during “Beautiful Girl.”

Through the concert it was easy to see how much Teen Top has matured the past three years. The youngest Ricky revealed how much he has grown by singing his solo song, Alex‘s “It’s You,” with his sweet voice. Chunji sang Jungyeob‘s “Are You OK?” in a mature voice and deepened emotions. Also, Niel and C.A.P.‘s duet cover of Zion.T‘s “Two Melodies” was performed in a cool atmosphere, as if they were at a bar. 

Of course, Teen Top also performed their most popular songs such as their debut single “Clap” and “Supa Luv.” Unlike their recorded performances, fans were able to hear and feel the stomping and clapping of their energetic choreography. They also performed “Missing You“, “Stop Girl“, “To You“, “Why“, “Sweet“, and “Crazy.” 

They also broke off into their sub units and performed some special tracks. C.A.P., L. Joe, and Changjo showed off their rapping abilities through their “Mr. Bang” performance. L. Joe and Changjo also performed “Jealousy” and had a dance performance, where Changjo worked the fans in a frenzy by revealing his abs. 

Teen Top also did a special rendition of Sistar19‘s “Gone Not Around Any Longer.” They wore white button up shirts and did the famous invisible chair dance in a sexy performance that would have made Sistar19 proud. 
At the end of the concert the members of Teen Top thanked their fans and their agency. Niel said, “I want to thank our company’s president. Also, I want to thank Andy. I also want to thank the family at our agency for all their hard work.” 

L. Joe promised, “We will always be grateful to ANGEL (Teen Top’s fan club). Thank you all for coming here today.”

Through this concert Teen Top and their fans became one. The faces and loving messages of the fans that showed on the screen during the songs will be something Teen Top will never forget. Changjo even teared up and cried as he was so touched. At this Niel said, “It’s like the time we won first place for the first time.”

Teen Top will continue their tour in Japan on May 18, 21, and 22.

TEEN TOP to add an extra date to their Japanese tour

Good news to Japanese Angels, because TEEN TOP will be adding an additional date to their Japanese tour.

Because of the sheer demand for TEEN TOP’s tickets in Japan, their label TOP Media decided to add another date in Yokohama. The boys sold out their concert in both Tokyo and Kobe, and they’ll be holding the ‘Let’s Go! Summer Vacation! TEEN TOP SUMMER SPECIAL CONCERT‘ for fans in Yokohama.

TEEN TOP cover SISTAR19′s “Gone Not Around Any Longer” at their Seoul concert

On May 11th and 12th, TEEN TOP began their first Asia tour, ‘Teen Top No.1‘, in Seoul.

Aside from performing upgraded stages of their hit songs, “No More Perfume on You“, “Miss Right“, and “To You” among others, the group performed a convincing cover of SISTAR19‘s “Gone Not Around Any Longer“.

The group were scheduled to hold 4 Japanese concerts with 2 shows in Kobe and 2 shows in Tokyo, but due to high demand additional dates will be added.
The boys managed to add a sexy masculine element to SISTAR19′s popular choreography.

The crowd cheered approvingly as the member recreated various key elements of the song.

Teen Top’s Niel Asks Fans to Stop Prank Calling Him

With fans crawling into restricted territory, Teen Top’s Niel laid out a straightforward and honest warning to fans who have been prank calling him.

On May 8, Niel tweeted a series of posts, asking fans to stop calling him.

He wrote, “Everyone, I’m leaving a note because I’ve experienced something that is truly upsetting. I understand that fans who know my number are really happy, but to the fans who are directly calling and calling late at night or in the early morning, I’m sorry, but I want you to stop.”

“To the people who are actually calling to play around and the people who are prank calling, seriously, please stop. I don’t even know how to say this because I’m very upset. I’m politely asking you… I already know that you are fans who like us and love us, so please, keep what should be kept.”

The tweets continued, “Now…. I’m not sure what I should say now. To the fans who didn’t do this, I’m sorry. I was so angry that I had to leave a message. I’m asking you… I’m thankful that you like me.. I’m politely asking once again, everyone,” and “Stop playing jokes.”

Teen Top Has a Little Something Special Planned for Concert

Teen Top has something up its sleeves and the only way to find out is to go to the concert.

On May 10, one day before Teen Top’s 2013 Teen Top No.1 Asia Tour in Seoul, the members released a video where they talked about the concert and what they’ve been keeping a secret.

Teen Top has been revealing photos of the concert practice each day through its Facebook page, giving fans a sneak peek at a very special something to happen at the concert. Niel mentioned that C.A.P was particularly awesome, raking in more curiosity to what this thing could be.

Teen Top’s first concerts in Korea will take on May 11 and 12.

Sohee denies asking Niel out + Andy apologizes for his comments

Yesterday when Shinhwa came out as a guest on MBC‘s ‘Radio Star‘, Andy confessed that TEEN TOP‘s Niel had been asked out by a JYP Entertainment girl group member ‘S’!

Of course, as soon as the episode aired, many viewers tried to guess who ‘S’ was, and most came to conclude it was Wonder Girls member Sohee because she’d once said TEEN TOP was her favorite group. However, Sohee denied all the accusations. When a fan asked her on Twitter, “Are you ‘S’?“, she answered shortly, “I am not-“. This denial was especially surprising since Sohee mostly uses her Twitter only to re-tweet other posts.

Andy also apologized for what he’d said through his own website, writing, “Hello, this is Andy. I’m sincerely sorry to everyone that was bothered because of me. I’ll be more careful on broadcast from now on. I’m Sorry.“

Do you need a reason to give presents to your friends?

Well, apparently TEEN TOP‘s Niel doesn’t! He took a photo of a pair of sneakers he bought for INFINITE‘s Sungyeol and posted it onto his Twitter, “I was buying shoes, and suddenly I remembered you, so I bought one for you, hyung~~ Wear it well~~! kekekeke.”

JYPE say they have no comment regarding ‘S’ asking out TEEN TOP’s Niel

JYP Entertainment didn’t have much to say regarding the reveal of TEEN TOP‘s Niel being asked out by a JYPE girl group member with the initial ‘S’.

JYP Entertainment responded, “Although several names are being discussed, we will quietly let this pass over. Our position is that we have no comment.”

On the May 8th broadcast of ‘Radio Star‘, Shinhwa‘s Andy shocked fans by mentioning that Niel was asked out by a girl group member. Andy hinted on who it may be revealing, “I heard it was from JYP Entertainment, a girl group member ‘S’”, which led to a frenzy of netizens trying to find out which girl group member it could be.

Sohee has denied asking Niel out, while Andy apologized for his comments on the broadcast.

San-E denies being the ‘S’ that asked Niel out

In a hilarious turn of events, San-E got involved in Niel‘s ‘S’ incident.

Or rather, he included himself in the topic of conversation. Using his recent leave from JYP Entertainment and Andy‘s recent comments on ‘Radio Star‘ as the premise of his joke, San-E took to his Twitter to write, “I’m not the ‘S’ girl;;“.

Later on, he again wrote, “Niel is cool, but how can you say I was forced to leave because I asked Niel out……” Along with his post, he posted a photo of himself posing by a park sign that originally read ‘Gate Ball’. However, he’d purposely covered up the second part of the word, making the sign only read ‘Gay’.

TEEN TOP’s Changjo triplet becomes a quadruplet

TEEN TOP‘s Changjo has found himself another ‘twin’!

Changjo shared on his Twitter, “Changjo and Jonghyuns together in a long time”, introducing the fourth member of the Changjo clan, Jonghyun (Changjo’s real name). The idol previously shared a photo with his ‘twin’ and then found a third brother, but now we see him as a part of a quadruplet thanks to his handy work on photoshop.

But fans will get to see only one Changjo during TEEN TOP’s Asia tour which kicks off at Korea University in Seoul on May 11th-12th, before moving on to Kobe, Japan on the 18th, and Tokyo on the 21st-22nd.

The Changjo ‘twins’ find a third brother

It looks like TEEN TOP‘s Changjo is really having fun with his multiple selves!

Recently, Changjo snapped a few photos with his ‘twin’ and posted them to his Twitter, and he’s back at it again! Except this time, the twins seem to have found a third brother, making them triplets.

He tweeted, “I was not two people… I… I was three;;,” with a photo of three ‘Changjos’ standing around in the hallway.

INFINITE, TEEN TOP, SHINee, and more dish on the real personalities of idols

‘Weekly Idol‘ went around with a survey titled, ‘They’re so~ different~ from their real selves! The cosplay-idols that have a business image‘. Many idols participated in the survey, offering their suggestions on whom they believe to be the most different on and off camera.

To the amusement of fans some of the results were released through the show’s Twitter.



First up was TEEN TOP‘s L.Joe. His own members Niel, Ricky, and Changjo wrote, “Angel on stage, demon off stage!!!!!“, “Cute hyung vs player hyung“, and “He really has absolutely no charisma!“.


Next up was INFINITE‘s Sungjong, who was nominated by L, who wrote, “Show us your real self“.



However, more members seemed to think that L was the more likely candidate, as Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Hoya, Sungyeol, and Sungjong wrote, “He has two faces“, “It’s not the same person..“, “L and Myungsoo are different people…“, “He’s cool on stage, but he’s not cool anymore“, and “He has a chic image, but he’s actually lively and fun“.

TEEN TOP goes sporty for ‘Arena’

‘DIADORA‘ has treated TEEN TOP‘s fans with the boys’ pictorial for ’Arena‘ magazine!

The boys went for a sporty, athletic look with by partnering up with the sports brand ‘DIADORA’, and used various sports equipment as props such as soccer balls, skateboards, weights, boxing gloves, and darts.

They looked at ease looking quite effortless and natural, making it really seem as if they’ve just returned to the locker room to take a break during their workout.

TEEN TOP‘s Changjo snapped photos with his ‘twin’!

Changjo posted a pair of selcas on Twitter that made fans do a double take. The first one was captioned with, “D-18 TEEN TOP concert.. I’m nervous….” The photo shows Changjo posing with his photoshopped ‘twin’, one staring out the window and one posing with a peace sign.

In the second photo, the idol is making a furious face at his doppelganger, while his ‘twin’ cringed back in shock. He captioned it, “Gasp.”


Looks like Changjo might be the champion of playing by himself!
