Teen Top’s Ricky Would Like To Go to School If He Had a Break

Idol group Teen Top, who just held their first solo concert, “2013 Teen Top No.1 Asia Tour,” in Seoul on May 12 discussed what they would like to do if they were given a break after the concert tour.

C.A.P showed his affection for sports saying, “I want to learn sports. I want to play sports and do other cultural activities.”

Niel responded, “I like to travel so I want to travel to another country this time.” Chunji added, “I like to travel too so I want to go to another country and experience the different culture.”

L.Joe and Changjo said that they would like to work on music if they were given a break after the tour. L.Joe said, “I want to earnestly focus on composing music. I won’t be coming out of my room for a while.” Changjo stated, “I want to work on music with my friend and also produce a dance video.

Lastly, Ricky stated a small but heartfelt wish, saying,  ”Since I am still a student, I want to go to school. I want to spend time with a lot of friends at school.”

After the Seoul leg of their tour, Teen Top will be performing in Japan- May 18 in Kobe and May 21-22 in Tokyo.

TEEN TOP‘s Ricky and MYNAME‘s Chaejin graduated from their high school!

To celebrate, both Chaejin and Ricky took to their Twitters to post photos. Chaejin snapped a photo with Ricky and wrote, “I met Ricky while I was taking graduation photos at school ^^.”


Ricky also took a photo with Chaejin and a mutual friend, writing, “Thanks for taking care of me today~^^.” Later on, he added,

As ’95ers’, both Ricky and Chaejin will be graduating from high school early next year.

TEEN TOP‘s Ricky covered up for a ride on the train.

He tweeted a photo of himself waiting at a stop with the message, “Kid-Changhyun (Ricky’s real name) using public transportation ^^.” Ricky covered his face up with a mask, making him look like an average, though very adorable, student with a backpack.

TEEN TOP will be making a comeback soon with their follow-up track, “Walk By“. The boys are planning to start promotions on broadcast stations this week.

TEEN TOP draws ‘Angel’s to celebrate the 1004th day since their debut

TEEN TOP recently celebrated their 1000th day and continued to show their love for fans by drawing pictures of their ‘Angel’s [fanclub name] to commemorate their now 1004th day since their debut!

TEEN TOP shared on their official me2day on the 8th, “Angels need wings [C.A.P.]. This is all of you guys [Chunji]. I LOVE YOU♡ [L.Joe]. This is an angel [Niel]. This is the angel I thought of when I was young [Ricky]. This is my heart [Changjo]“, and touched fans’ hearts with their adorable drawings.
Amused yet touched by the boys’ gestures, fans were quick to leave comments like, “I love TEEN TOP’s angel drawings keke“, “They all draw so well”, and “I want these pictures ^^”.

TEEN TOP take fans behind the scenes of their Asia tour poster photo shoot

TEEN TOP got fans excited for their first Asia tour with the unveil of their official tour poster, and now behind-the-scenes footage of what really went on during the photo shoot for the poster has aired!

Y-STAR met with TEEN TOP during the shoot, and the boys were spotted showing a more playful side with their colorful outfits. TEEN TOP revealed that they will be going for a ‘party’ theme for their poster and tour, so fans can expect to have a lot of fun with wild and unpredictable performances from the boys.

TEEN TOP will kick off their tour at Korea University in Seoul on May 11th-12th then move on to Kobe, Japan on the 18th, Tokyo on the 21st-22nd, and more!

Teen Top’s Ricky Keeps Promise and Leaves a Book Review

A teen of his words, Teen Top’s Ricky left a book review as promised to his friends.

Back in February, Teen Top revealed a video, where Ricky was reading a book. To prove that he’s a man who really reads, he promised to write a review after he is finished reading the book.

On April 4, Ricky left a book review on Teen Top’s fancafe after reading a couple of Guillaume Musso’s books. Ricky talked about Sauvez-Moi, Parce Que Je T’aime, and 7 Ans Apres.

"Here is my first book review!" wrote Ricky. "Because I am a man who keeps promises."

Although short, Ricky wrote in detail his thoughts and analysis of the books and recommended them to the fans.

Meanwhile, Teen Top will be holding its 2013 Teen Top No.1 Asia Tour in Seoul on May 11 and 12.

Two photos were released through the boys’ official Facebook. The above photo was uploaded with the caption that read, “Sh! Who do you think the member all the way over there~~~ is? (Sneaking up) We managed a shot ^.^ To help you purify your eyes! It was Ricky, who shines by himself even without a light!“.

They later uploaded a second photo with the caption, “Ah! As soon as the photo was taken, Ricky looked this way. Anyway, what do you think he’s shooting for? Aren’t you curious??? Niel, C.A.P, and Ricky hop on the Twitter bandwagon

It looks like the boys of TEEN TOP discovered the joys of Twitter!

Ever since L.Joe made his account, he’s been followed quickly by Chunji and Changjo, and now Niel and C.A.P have joined the trend! Unlike the other members, Niel hasn’t graced us with a selca yet, but he’s been confirmed by L.Joe. You can follow him here, and C.A.P here.

C.A.P previously wrote on their group Twitter, “I’m only going to do the TEEN TOP Twitter. I don’t have plans to make one. Careful of impersonators“. 

However, he changed his mind afterwards as he created one for himself and explained his change of decision, “Hello. This is TEEN TOP’s C.A.P. I wasn’t going to do this, but it looked fun so I started it. It’s 8:45 in the morning, I’m currently washing my hair for my schedule (this is my bare face),” 

He also responded to his previous tweet on the group’s official Twitter, writing, “No, I’m doing [Twitter] now. Minsoo’s [C.A.P's real name] mind changes like the reeds blowing in the wind. This ID is Minsoo’s Twitter.” His account was further confirmed when L.Joe retweeted C.A.P’s above post and picture with the response, “hyung;;;;;”

TEEN TOP’s Ricky runs over to radio in school uniform

TEEN TOP had their first official radio outing for “Miss Right” on the KBS COOL FM show, “Hong Jin Kyung’s 2 O’ Clock‘.

When DJ Hong Jin Kyung tweeted a photo of the boys, fans realized that while the rest of the boys were dressed in chic, everyday outfits, Ricky stood out in his bright yellow school uniform. The DJ explained why he was in the uniform, writing, “Today is a live recording! TEEN TOP’s Ricky ran over in his school uniform. Congratulations on becoming a 3rd year in high school! (As Ricky said, in high school, the 3rd years are the top.. ke). How can a yellow school uniform look so good? It’s so nice and bright!”

Ricky explained why he had to visit the radio show despite his school schedule, tweeting, “Because of our official album’s first radio schedule, I ran over to the broadcast station in my school uniform. Angels, you went to school today too, right?”

TEEN TOP’s Ricky finds encouragement in Kim Tae Woo’s arms

TEEN TOP‘s Ricky turned into an adorable kid when he posed for a picture next to the ‘giant’ in the K-pop industry, singer Kim Tae Woo.

Ricky shared on his group’s official Twitter, “I am still growing, but is Tae Woo hyung still growing too?? keke”, along with a photo showing Ricky and Kim Tae Woo hugging each other backstage at ‘Music Bank‘ as support for both of their comebacks.

For those curious, Kim Tae Woo is 190 cm tall (~6’3″ ft.) while Ricky is 172 cm (~5’8″ ft.) according to their profiles.

In other news, TEEN TOP are currently on the lookout for their “Miss Right“. Meanwhile, Kim Tae Woo has eyes only for his “Cosmic Girl“. Both will continue to perform on music shows this week.

TEEN TOP really went all out for their new album ‘No.1‘! Luckily the wait is over, the album was just released.

The boys teased fans with their pre-release “I Wanna Love“, and now Angels can finally get their hands on the entire 12-track album. Fans got a little glimpse of the boys in the orange prisoner jumpsuits in their first teaser, and now the first photo teaser of the boys shows that not only are they in prison outfits, they’ve also got new nicknames(?) for themselves!

C.A.P is apparently called MUSTANG82, Niel became FULLLIPS12 (rather fitting for Niel don’t you think?), L.Joe became GANGJOE11, Chunji – SCATTY77, Changjo - WANNABESUN99, and Ricky - OOMPH27.

We don’t know yet if these names actually mean something for their comeback, or if they’re just meant for our amusement, so stay tuned for more news on their comeback!

MUSTANG82, FULLLIPS12, GANGJOE11, SCATTY77, WANNABESUN99, and OOMPH27, who are, C.A.P, Niel, L.Joe, Chunji, Changjo, and Ricky, have released their final video teaser!

Their new transformation into more matured and charismatic men of TEEN TOP have fans wanting more and more! Unfortunately, this seems to be the last video teaser in the lineup, judging by its title.

TEEN TOP has revealed a behind-the-scenes footage during the filming of their music video for “I Wanna Love“!

The song, which is a pre-release off their upcoming album, ‘No.1‘, topped real-time music charts and search rankings with its release, raising anticipation for the music video revealed later on. The boys then went on to release the video, which showed a matured TEEN TOP at Hong Kong, where it was filmed.

To get a bit more personal, the boys have now unveiled a new clip, showing you that despite their maturing image, they’re still their fun, lovable selves as they take selcas and photos of one another having fun and joking around.

TEEN TOP promoted their comeback with sweet muffins just in time for Valentine’s Day.

TEEN TOP shared on their me2day on the 13th, “Tomorrow is what day? It is a day for the person you love! hehe. We ‘Wanna Love’ too,” along with the set of photos below.

The photo set shows the members of TEEN TOP each holding up a muffin with icing that spells out the title of their upcoming single “I Wanna Love” in Korean.

TEEN TOP to stream their showcase for upcoming Korean comeback

TEEN TOP will be holding their first showcase of the new year entitled ‘TEENTOP FIRST ALBUM No.1’ on the 26th ahead of their comeback!

A representative revealed, “TEEN TOP recently successfully finished off their Europoean tour. TEEN TOP, who will be making a comeback in Korea, are preparing a lot for their live showcase.” Fans will be able to tune into the showcase from the comforts of their home as it will be streamed through LOEN TV and Melon.

‘TEENTOP FIRST ALBUM No.1’ showcase will be held at the Interpark Art Center in Seoul on the 26th. Melon will also be holding a special event through its homepage from February 14th-20th and the winners will be able to see TEEN TOP in person at their showcase.

TEEN TOP’s concert in Paris sets new decibel record

It has been revealed that TEEN TOP‘s February 9th concert at the Le Trianon theatre in Paris broke a record for reaching the highest decibel levels at this concert venue.

The concert agency revealed, “During TEEN TOP’s concert, the vibration caused by the audience jumping along was up to the level that the staff had to hold onto their equipment.” T.O.P. Media stated, “It was a standing concert, but after the audience started to crowd together towards the front, one person was injured in the beginning and had to be hospitalized. It was an exclusive tour as a team and many fans enthusiastically came out, surprising representatives.”

A representative of TEEN TOP’s concert in Spain on the 10th also shared, “The sounds of the audience were louder than a heavy metal concert”, revealing the enthusiastic support of TEEN TOP’s fans.

TEEN TOP successfully wrapped up their ‘TEEN TOP SHOW! Live tour in Europe 2013‘ starting with Munich, Germany on February 2nd and then visiting Dortmund, London, Paris, and Barcelona.

In other news, TEEN TOP’s first album will be released on February 25th KST, but the group will pre-release the song “I Wanna Love” on the 15th.
