Infinite’s Sunggyu Says He Experienced Hardships

Infinite’s Sunggyu recently revealed some of the struggles he experienced in the past. 

On April 27, he confessed on JTBC‘s “Lee Soo Geun and Kim Byung Man’s High Society” that “I wasn’t brought up from a wealthy background. During high school, I lived in a rooftop room.” He continued, “When my parents first set up their business, I enlisted in the military. But afterwards business failed and things became pretty bad. But since I’m the son, I made sure it didn’t affect my attitude. Even though I feel okay going into rooftop rooms, I still remember those times of hardship.” 

The atmosphere on the set turned solemn as Sunggyu shared his memories of hardship. It caused the viewers’ hearts to go out to the singer who worked hard and diligently to get to where he is today.

Which member has the worst butt in INFINITE?

According to the rest of the members of INFINITE, Sunggyu has the worst butt in his group.

During a recent filming for MBC Every1‘s ‘Weekly Idol‘, INFINITE conducted a ‘butt ranking’ and shocked fans with a little TMI by revealing, “Dongwoo likes to touch the members’ butts often.”

He then put his interesting habit on display by touching the other members’ butts and reviewing their behinds. The other members seemed uncomfortable throughout and responded, “This feels weird.”

Dongwoo then chose Sunggyu as the member with the worst butt, sharing, “[Sunggyu has] a flat, unique butt. If he sits on my knees, it hurts,” and all Sunggyu could do was bow his head in embarrassment.

Which Infinite member boasts the best badonkadonk?

What we’ve all been dying to know will finally be revealed on the May 1 episode of MBC Everyone’s Weekly Idol, where the Infinite members will be ranked according to their, er, assets.

Dong Woo, whom the others said “touches the members’ butts often” will be the judge and even feel around for the best butt on the show.

When MC Jung Hyung Don asked Dong Woo to choose the member with the worst butt, the title went to none other than leader Sung Kyu, whose behind Dong Woo described as “bony and unusual” and reasoned that it hurts when Sung Kyu sits on his lap.

As for the best butt, we’ll have to wait until the episode airs on May 1 to find out.

INFINITE’s Sunggyu sheds tears during recent filming for ‘High Society’

It’s been reported that INFINITE‘ Sunggyu shed tears while recently filming for JTBC‘s ‘High Society.’

The members of ‘High Society,’ Lee Soo Geun, Kim Byung Man, Shindong, Sunggyu, Jo Hye Ryun, and Shin Bong Sun all gathered together to have a lengthy conversation on the theme, ‘I’m the most pitiable.’

Sunggyu shared a touching story that he hasn’t even revealed to his parents yet. While sharing about his hardships during childhood, Sunggyu was unable to hold back the tears thinking about the sadness he felt during that time.
After sharing his story, Sunggyu continued to shed tears as he listened to other guests’ stories.

Sunggyu becomes the icon of betrayal on ‘The Genius: Rules of the Game’

Lee Kwang Soo might have to hand over his ’Running Man‘ status of being the ‘icon of betrayal’ over to INFINITE‘s Sunggyu!

The first episode of tvN‘s new variety show ’The Genius: Rules of the Game‘ will air on April 26, and Sunggyu threw the entire cast into chaos with his betrayal. At first, he looked like he was confused and couldn’t even understand the game, causing the other cast members to lower their defenses around him.

When the other cast members tried to get him to work together, he even said, “What if you betray me?“, and made absolutely no one wary of him. However, as we saw in the teaser, near the middle of the game, Sunggyu’s image completely flipped, as he won every game and shot up to 1st place, shocking everyone.

The PD of the show said, “He’s a character that shows twists upon twists. In the waiting room, he’s a diligent maknae to his sunbaes, but during the filming, he changes completely. He’s a great cast member who understood the program concept completely.”

Sunggyu and Woohyun confess they nearly came to blows during a fight

Kwak Jung Wook revealed that Sunggyu and Woohyun had almost thrown punches at each other during a fight.

He appeared on the April 15th episode of ‘Beatles Code 2‘ and he had a a lot of stories to share about the INFINITEboys as he’s close friends with them. The MCs asked him, “If you were once a trainee with the INFINITE members, you must know a lot of things. Have you seen the members fighting?“.

At first, he hesitated, saying, “Can I really say this?“, but later stated, “I saw Sunggyu and Woohyun fighting once“.

Sunggyu admitted, “I fought with Woohyun. We had to go practice, but Woohyun wouldn’t get up. When he finally got up, he came at me. But we couldn’t hit each other, and we just had a face-off. It was close but we never threw punches. He apologized soon after and we made up.”

When MC Shindong heard this, he made everyone laugh by admitting, “Super Junior sometimes fights really violently too.”
