To celebrate, both Chaejin and Ricky took to their Twitters to post photos. Chaejin snapped a photo with Ricky and wrote, “I met Ricky while I was taking graduation photos at school ^^.”


Ricky also took a photo with Chaejin and a mutual friend, writing, “Thanks for taking care of me today~^^.” Later on, he added,

As ’95ers’, both Ricky and Chaejin will be graduating from high school early next year.

F.T. Island’s 2009 release “Jump Up” ranks #1 on Taiwanese music chart

F.T. Island‘s first mini album ‘Jump Up‘ literally jumped up to take the top spot on a Taiwanese music chart

This may not seem like a big deal at first, but ‘Jump Up’ was released back in 2009. According to Taiwanese music site Omusic, it managed to rank #1 on the Korea-Japanese Album Daily Broadcast Ranking for April 9. Additionally, the title song “You’re a Bad Girl” from ‘Jump Up’ also ranked #1 on the Song Daily Chart.

It’s the first time that a song that was released 4 years ago managed to rank #1 on the Omusic charts. Congratulations to F.T. Island!

MYNAME answers questions for Loen TV’s ‘Ask In a Box’ series

Following Sunny Hill, Loen TV has released another ‘Ask In A Box‘ interview clip, this time featuring rookie MYNAME, who is currently promoting their latest song “Just That Little Thing“.

The boys talked about various topics, such as their concept, their music video, and even what kind of CF they wanted to film the most. The boys are also currently preparing for their upcoming solo concert in March.

MYNAME drops details about their upcoming first solo concert in March

Like mentioned previously, MYNAME will be holding their first solo concert in March to coincide their latest domestic comeback with “Just That Little Thing“. The group has since then unveiled some more details about the upcoming event, mentioning that the concert will be titled, ‘The Beginning‘.

It has also been announced that this anticipated event will be held at Seoul’s UNIQLO AX Hall on March 2nd.

MYNAME is currently preparing to showcase their powerful choreography and upgraded stage manners during the concert. The group will also perform the songs from their 2nd single album including title track “Just That Little Thing“, “Astonished” and “Drawn To You“, as well as their previous songs “Message” and “Hello & Goodbye“. The five members will also hold special stages for the Korean fans who waited for their return.

Ticket reservation for the concert will start on January 29th 5PM KST through Interpark and YES24.

[Updated] MYNAME returns with MV for “Just That Little Thing”

MYNAME has finally made their return with the release of their second single “Just That Little Thing“!

Fans of the group have been waiting a very long time for this return and the boys haven’t disappointed with the release of a powerful new track.

MYNAME to hold first solo concert in March

Rookie group MYNAME will be holding their first solo concert this coming March at the UNIQLO-AX Hall.

The boys, who debuted in the second half of 2011, attracted much media attention for their excellent vocal skills as well as visuals. They are also known for their success overseas, especially in Japan, and have returned with their second single album, “Just That Little Thing“.

MYNAME has been revealing teaser images since January 14th, and unveiled their music video teaser as well. They are preparing for official promotions on television and music shows, and are excited to spend time with their fans during their first solo concert.

MYNAME discuss their Japanese promotions

MYNAME opened up about their promotions in Japan.

The members, who are preparing for a domestic comeback with a new track called “Just That Little Thing“, have been promoting overseas for the past seven months. They’ve recently wrapped up their Japanese solo concert and will be featuring on their own Japanese TV show.

In a recent interview, MYNAME shared, “After releasing our first single album, we promoted actively in Japan for 7 months. Because of that, our [Japanese] fan base has grown, and most of our fans happen to be male.”

Insoo commented, “In Japan, there are a lot of handshake events. One time, a male fan saw me and started crying. At first I was taken aback, but I was thankful that he was so interested in us.” Gunwoo added, “We try to promote in Japan without a translator. I think [our Japanese fans] like that about us.”

In related news, MYNAME will release their second single album, ‘Just That Little Thing’, on the 25th KST.

MYNAME has released the most exciting teaser so far as they’ve finally revealed the MV teaser for that comeback track!

MYNAME continued the buildup for their impending comeback with three new teasers, this time of members Chaejin, Seyong, and Insoo!

On January 14th (KST), their label, H2 Media, tweeted the three teaser photos giving fans a closer look at the three members’ upgraded style for this comeback. The fire in the background plus their intense stares has definitely raised the hype for this comeback!

MYNAME reveals short PV for ‘Tokyo Walk’ version of “What’s Up”

Having celebrated their 100 days since debut in Japan not too long ago, MYNAME will be releasing a new Japanese single “What’s Up”.

Althought they’ve already unveiled the PV for the song, they have released a ‘Tokyo Walk’ version showing the members walking around the city and enjoying themselves through the more laid back music video for the track.

As reported previously, MYNAME is set to make their Japanese debut with their upcoming Japanese single ‘Message‘. The boys have already released the music video for the Japanese version of their title track “Message”, and now they have unveiled a teaser for their coupling track on the single, “Summer Party“.

The video teaser shows the boys hanging out with one another while enjoying a bbq party in a backyard, which seems to perfectly suit the upbeat track for the summer.

MYNAME to unveil date of Japanese debut showcase in their new comic book series

Ahead of their official Japanese debut, MYNAME will be greeting their Japanese fans through a new comic!

On June 26th, H2 Entertainment revealed that a new comic series featuring the members of MYNAME as the leading characters titled ‘Living with the Princes‘ will begin July 5th in Japan through ‘Sho-Comi‘. The comic is centered around MYNAME living with a lovely young girl and the various scenarios that result from it. There will be romance involved with direct inspiration from MYNAME’s real life dating experiences. The first episode will be focused on Seyong with plenty of scenes that officials say will surely make the hearts of fans flutter.

On choosing MYNAME as leads for the comic, the editor in chief of Sho-Comi expressed, “We thought it’d be fun to use MYNAME, one of the rising K-Pop idols of the new Hallyu Wave, and felt that MYNAME’s looks were perfect to be turned into comic characters.”

Representatives stated, “Fans will be able to find the series in Japan’s manga magazine, ‘Sho-Comi’. The five members of MYNAME and one female lead will be starring in the comic. In the story, the date of MYNAME’s debut showcase and location will be revealed. We hope that you’ll be able to enjoy the fun surprise.”

MYNAME is currently promoting “Hello & Goodbye“.
