Infinite Says It′s Excited About Its World Tour

Infinite talked about how excited it is to be newly joining the ranks of idols that have held their own world tours.

On June 10, Infinite appeared at the press conference for its upcoming 2013 Infinite 1st World Tour One Great Step, and talked about its aims toward its future promotions.

The conference was relayed live to the world through Google.

Hoya said as the representative of the group, "We debuted on June 9, 2010, and yesterday was our third anniversary. I can′t believe we′ll be going on the world tour we′ve dreamed of since we were trainees, and it′s like a dream. I′m excited and happy."

Sung Yeol said about the title of the concert, "Niel Armstrong said his first step on the moon was ′one small step for a man′. We took that phrase and made it ′one great step′. It upgrades the meaning, and it means you can look forward to what′s coming."

Infinite will hold concerts in Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Peru, America, Britain and France after starting off in Seoul. The tour will last about three months.

Infinite Aims to Spread K-Pop Through the World

Infinite is determined to do good for K-Pop by spreading it to more corners of the world.

The group spoke up at the press conference for its first world tour One Great Step on June 10.

Hoya said, "Many of our members have never been overseas before their debuts, and we′ll work hard thinking to learn more about the cultures of each country. We′ll try to learn what stage manners each country likes."

Kim Sung Kyu also said, "We′ll spread the strengths of K-Pop and Korean culture."

Infinite will start touring the world with a concert in Seoul from August.

Infinite′s First Studio Album in Japan Tops Oricon′s Weekly Chart

Infinite′s first studio album in Japan handed another success to the group in its streak, topping the country′s weekly and daily Oricon charts.

According to the Oricon, Infinite′s album Koi ni Ochiru Toki, released on June 5, topped the weekly chart.

The album contains the Japanese version of Man In Love, as well as the group′s previous hits Be Mine and BTD.

A rep from Woolim Entertainment said, "The Infinite members are all happy that their first studio album has been successful not only on the daily charts but also the weekly charts. They′re especially surprised because they haven′t promoted in the country yet. They′ll make sure to repay the great love with better performances."

Infinite will start promoting in Japan this week.

In the meantime, the group held the press conference for its upcoming world tour One Great Step on June 10.

Infinite Unveils ‘Man In Love’ Japanese Version Teaser

Ready to release its first official Japanese album, Infinite released the music video teaser for Man In Love, Japanese version.

The new version of the already beloved song was unveiled on May 27 through the Woollim Entertainment Youtube channel. The Japanese version teaser briefly showed the Infinite members expressing love in other ways, contrasting from the original Man In Love music video.

Infinite will be releasing its first official Japanese album on June 5.

INFINITE have an ice cream date with 30 Inspirits for their ‘Natuur POP’ fan meeting

INFINITE brought 30 lucky Inspirits along for an ice cream date during their special fan meeting for ‘NatuurPOP‘!

Thirty lucky fans were invited via an online contest to the event, ‘INFINITE, Personally Meet Them at the NatuurPOP Store‘, where they were able to meet their favorite idols in person. The group held an autograph session and volunteered as staff members at the ice cream parlor, serving ice cream directly to fans.

Infinite L Releases Photo Essay Book to Share Healing

Hoping his photos will become help to others, Infinite’ L released his L’s Bravo Viewtiful photo essay book on May 15.

In the website opened for the photo book, L wrote out a prologue, signed as “L (Kim Myung Soo, who writes a diary through pictures).” In the prologue, he wrote, “Not as a celebrity or Infinite member L who stands on stage, I had the sudden urge to communicate with the world as a normal, common 20 year old immaturely living his life.”

He wrote that just as photos helped him in times of hardship, he hoped that through his pictures, he could also share healing with others.

The photo book will be released on May 15.

INFINITE to invite 30 lucky Inspirits to their ‘NatuurPOP’ fan meeting

INFINITE will have something to be ‘inspirited’ about as the boys will be holding a special fan meeting for ‘NatuurPOP‘!

Thirty lucky fans will be invited to the event, ‘INFINITE, Personally Meet Them at the NatuurPOP Store‘, where they will get to meet INFINITE in person. Fans can enter the contest through the ice cream band’s official Facebook by posting a snapshot of themselves buying their ice cream and writing a review of the experience. Entries will be accepted until the 12th, and the winners will be announced on the 13th.

The event will consist of two parts: the first part will be an autograph session held from 11AM-12PM on the 15th and the second part will be INFINITE directly serving the ice cream to fans.

‘NatuurPOP’ stated, “Like the various charms of the seven INFINITE members, we hope that you have a good time with ‘NatuurPOP’ ice cream.”

Do you need a reason to give presents to your friends?

Well, apparently TEEN TOP‘s Niel doesn’t! He took a photo of a pair of sneakers he bought for INFINITE‘s Sungyeol and posted it onto his Twitter, “I was buying shoes, and suddenly I remembered you, so I bought one for you, hyung~~ Wear it well~~! kekekeke.”

INFINITE members to bare their abs for a taste of Korean beef on ‘Weekly Idol’

Korean beef is loved by many in Korea, and INFINITE is no exception!

While recently filming of MBC Every1‘s ’Weekly Idol‘, the boys were told that they would be able to eat delicious Korean beef but only if they had nice looking abs.

Hoya, Dongwoo, and Woohyun had no problems flipping their shirts up to reveal their washboard abs, but the rest of the members hesitated. At this, MC Jung Hyung Don said, “Even if you don’t have abs, we’ll give you a high score, so don’t worry“, coaxing the other members to reveal their bodies.

Sunggyu was quite hesitant on revealing his body, saying, “Should I reveal my body just for one piece of meat even though I’ve never done it for the past 4 years?“.

INFINITE’s Dongwoo suffers a sanitary problem on ‘Mamma Mia’

INFINITE‘s Dongwoo went through a slightly embarrassing episode during his appearance on KBS‘s ‘Mamma Mia‘.

On the latest episode of the family variety show, Dongwoo went on a simple spring outing with his mother. As he hadn’t seen her in a while, they both managed to have a good time by themselves.

However, their fun outing was cut short when, somewhere from Dongwoo’s nether regions, came a farting sound. Although his mother turned in surprise, exclaiming, “What sound is that?”, Dongwoo maintained his calm, simply replying, “It’s a fart”.

He then turned to the camera and apologized, saying, “I apologize.”

Infinite’s Hoya Reveals His ‘Man in Love’ Ways at ‘M COUNTDOWN Nihao-Taiwan’

Infinite recently returned with its hit Man in Love, and member Hoya has revealed just what kind of man he becomes when he’s under love’s spell.



The idol group met with members of the media at a press conference held before the highly-anticipated M COUNTDOWN Nihao-Taiwan at the Taipei Arena in Taiwan on April 24, where the night’s performers talked about their visit and expectations for the show.

Woo Hyun said, “We heard a lot of Taiwanese fans came out, so we hope to put on an awesome stage in return.”



When asked if they’ve picked up any new Chinese phrases, the boys took turns charming the reporters with their language skills, saying “How are you feeling?” and “Thank you” to the ever useful “You’re beautiful” and “Have some tea” to the random “Come in.”

Continuing with their charming ways, when asked if the members act a certain way when they’re in love, Hoya responded, “If I’m reading, I see the girl’s name in the words, and when I watch a movie, I see the girl’s face in the leading lady," before adding "Is it the same for you all?”

INFINITE determine hyung & dongseng through popularity, not age

INFINITE revealed their own unique way of determining hyung and dongseng within the group.

On the May 1st episode of MBC Every1‘s ‘Weekly Idol‘, INFINITE revealed, “We decided on who is the hyung and dongseng through popularity. But at the moment we’re friends.”

Sunggyu added, “When Hoya was getting really popular with ‘Reply 1997‘, he did a CF by himself for a phone company. We made him the title of hyung immediately and after that he got really arrogant. He thought he was a big star, so we had to get rid of that. Now he’s not a hyung anymore.”

Hoya admitted, “Sunggyu hyung yelled at me because I got arrogant. So we decided everyone should be friends.”

To this, the MCs teased him by saying, “Didn’t your solo album not do well?“. Sunggyu was flustered but explained, “It’s because it was edited like that on broadcast. Don’t edit this out! My solo album was a classic. You can’t say it failed. I sold 70,000-80,000 albums all by myself, and not many solo artists can accomplish that.”

Infinite’s Sunggyu Says He Experienced Hardships

Infinite’s Sunggyu recently revealed some of the struggles he experienced in the past. 

On April 27, he confessed on JTBC‘s “Lee Soo Geun and Kim Byung Man’s High Society” that “I wasn’t brought up from a wealthy background. During high school, I lived in a rooftop room.” He continued, “When my parents first set up their business, I enlisted in the military. But afterwards business failed and things became pretty bad. But since I’m the son, I made sure it didn’t affect my attitude. Even though I feel okay going into rooftop rooms, I still remember those times of hardship.” 

The atmosphere on the set turned solemn as Sunggyu shared his memories of hardship. It caused the viewers’ hearts to go out to the singer who worked hard and diligently to get to where he is today.

According to the rest of the members of INFINITE, Sunggyu has the worst butt in his group.

During a recent filming for MBC Every1‘s ‘Weekly Idol‘, INFINITE conducted a ‘butt ranking’ and shocked fans with a little TMI by revealing, “Dongwoo likes to touch the members’ butts often.”

He then put his interesting habit on display by touching the other members’ butts and reviewing their behinds. The other members seemed uncomfortable throughout and responded, “This feels weird.”

Dongwoo then chose Sunggyu as the member with the worst butt, sharing, “[Sunggyu has] a flat, unique butt. If he sits on my knees, it hurts,” and all Sunggyu could do was bow his head in embarrassment.

Which Infinite member boasts the best badonkadonk?

What we’ve all been dying to know will finally be revealed on the May 1 episode of MBC Everyone’s Weekly Idol, where the Infinite members will be ranked according to their, er, assets.

Dong Woo, whom the others said “touches the members’ butts often” will be the judge and even feel around for the best butt on the show.

When MC Jung Hyung Don asked Dong Woo to choose the member with the worst butt, the title went to none other than leader Sung Kyu, whose behind Dong Woo described as “bony and unusual” and reasoned that it hurts when Sung Kyu sits on his lap.

As for the best butt, we’ll have to wait until the episode airs on May 1 to find out.

‘Weekly Idol‘ went around with a survey titled, ‘They’re so~ different~ from their real selves! The cosplay-idols that have a business image‘. Many idols participated in the survey, offering their suggestions on whom they believe to be the most different on and off camera.

To the amusement of fans some of the results were released through the show’s Twitter.



First up was TEEN TOP‘s L.Joe. His own members Niel, Ricky, and Changjo wrote, “Angel on stage, demon off stage!!!!!“, “Cute hyung vs player hyung“, and “He really has absolutely no charisma!“.

L‘s photo essay book ‘Bravo Viewtiful‘ is ranked #1 in bookstore preorders!
The preorders began online on April 25, and it immediately ranked #1 on online bookstores such as Kyobo and Yes24. The photo essay book features photos taken by L during a 93-day journey. He didn’t focus on his life as an idol star, but rather the feelings and lifestyle of a man in his twenties.

As many fans know, L loves taking photos so much that the first thing he did after earning his first check was to buy a camera. L said, “There’s no photo or letter in the photo essay that isn’t from me.”

INFINITE’s Sunggyu sheds tears during recent filming for ‘High Society’

It’s been reported that INFINITE‘ Sunggyu shed tears while recently filming for JTBC‘s ‘High Society.’

The members of ‘High Society,’ Lee Soo Geun, Kim Byung Man, Shindong, Sunggyu, Jo Hye Ryun, and Shin Bong Sun all gathered together to have a lengthy conversation on the theme, ‘I’m the most pitiable.’

Sunggyu shared a touching story that he hasn’t even revealed to his parents yet. While sharing about his hardships during childhood, Sunggyu was unable to hold back the tears thinking about the sadness he felt during that time.
After sharing his story, Sunggyu continued to shed tears as he listened to other guests’ stories.

INFINITE members celebrate leader Sunggyu’s birthday

INFINITE‘s charismatic and slightly buffoonish leader Sunggyu recently met his birthday, and his fellow INFINITE members poured out on Twitter to celebrate his very special day.

“Happy birthday to our nearly 30 cutesy Gyu-nim,” Sungyeol posted. “Now that you’re old, I have a proposal! Although I am merely an underling, please refrain from being cute ..your generosity knows no bounds.”

“Sunggyu hyung~! Happy birthday~♥♥♥” Sungjong posted. “Leader Gyu who always brings us strength~! I love you~ +_+”

Hoya kept his message short and to the point, simply saying, “Happy birthday to Gyu hyungnim”. Dongwoo was more upbeat, posting “ㅋㅋㅋ Gyu birthday ~.~ Let’s all live to the max!!! Because our lives will pass hehehe life is a party~!”

In response to all of the well-wishes from his fellow members, Sunggyu replied in kind. “Thank you INFINITE friends!” he posted. “But I will always be your cutesy guiyomi.”
