C-CLOWN unleashes album jacket photos ahead of their upcoming comeback

As promised, C-CLOWN is indeed making their return this month, and is following up the announcement with the reveal of eye-catching album jacket photos ahead of the album release.

Yedang Entertainment released the photos through C-CLOWN’s official fan cafe on the 11th. The two contrasting photos do a good job of keeping fans guessing at what might be in store!

The first photo shows the boys going for a more raw image, exposing a bit of their toned physiques in their neutral colored shirts. The second one takes a completely different approach as the boys are seen dressed to impress in their suits and ties, ready to take to the stage with their charisma.

C-CLOWN will return on the 18th with a new mini album, so stay tuned!

C-CLOWN’s Ray and Maru to graduate

C-CLOWN‘s Ray and Maru are graduating!

Both boys will be attending their schools’ graduations on the 7th KST – Ray, born in 1994, will be graduating from high school, and Maru, born in 1997, will be graduating from middle school.

C-CLOWN’s label stated, “Ray and Maru are disappointed because they haven’t been able to attend many school activities while they were preparing to debut and when they debuted. They’re very thankful to the teachers and friends who understood and supported their promotions. C-CLOWN is currently resting from official promotions, and Ray and Maru wanted to meet their friends and teachers to look back on their memories. We’ve adjusted their photo shoot schedule, so they can attend their graduations.”

Ray commented, “It hasn’t really hit me yet, but I think it will when I say my goodbyes at the graduation. I feel good, and I’m nervous about becoming an adult.” Maru added, “I’m sad because I haven’t been able to live school life much. In high school, I’m going to work hard, so I can be satisfied in both music and school activities.”

Ray will be going to Jangan University with his groupmate Siwoo, while Maru will be going to Heungduk High School in Chungjoo. The boys are currently working on their new album.

C-CLOWN releases unseen pictures from a previous photoshoot

C-CLOWN revealed unseen studio cuts from a previous photoshoot.

The photos were uploaded onto the group’s official fancafe and show the members sitting in a luxurious setting, looking almost like royalty. The members’ facial expression, fashion, and the set meld perfectly to create a high-quality shoot.

Their label revealed, “They took these photos when they were shooting a video with their label sunbaes such as Gukkasten and ALi. They only wore their stage outfits for their promotions, so they wanted to show a different side to their fans.”

C-CLOWN successfully completes promotions for “Because You Might Grow Distant”

 

Group C-CLOWN successfully completed their promotions for “Because You Might Grow Distant” on the January 20th broadcast of SBS ‘Inkigayo‘.

After the broadcast, the boys held a mini fan meeting for their fans from all over the country. They prepared hot packs and warm drinks to fight the cold weather, stating, “Thank you for sticking out the especially cold weather today and coming to support us, even from far away. We promise to return, looking even better, for our next album and performances,” saying their goodbyes for the time being, even dancing Psy‘s “horse dance” for the occasion.

“Because You Might Grow Distant”, released on November 15th, had been gaining much love and support for the emotional melody and strong rhythm. 

C-CLOWN will be working on individual promotions, as well as working on their new album.

C-CLOWN show off their signed albums from labelmates Guckkasten

C-CLOWN showed off their autographed CDs from labelmates rock band Guckkasten.

C-CLOWN shared on their official Twitter, “We received signed [CDs] from our hyungs, wow!!! The best rock band on earth Guckkasten, you are always handsome!!! Your C-CLOWN dongsengs are strongly supporting you!! ^@^,” along with the photo above.

The photo shows C-CLOWN proudly holding up their signed copies of Guckkasten’s repackaged album, ‘Time After Time Selection‘, and left fans smiling at the strong friendship between the label mates.

Fans commented, “You guys look so excited!”, “I want to receive Guckkasten’s autographed CDs as well!”, “Guckkasten hyungs, please take good care of C-CLOWN~”, and more.

In other news, Guckkasten successfully wrapped up their ‘Time After Time‘ year-end concert, and C-CLOWN are currently receiving a lot of love for their latest single, “Because You Might Grow Distant“.

C-CLOWN’s Kangjun and Ray parody ‘School 2013′

C-CLOWN‘s Ray and Kangjun parodied the hit drama ‘School 2013‘.

On January 9th, Ray tweeted, “We’re in the middle of making up as well~. Heh. We’re watching the cool Jong Suk hyungnim’s drama. Nam Soon and Heung Soo’s burning friendship!! It’s really touchingㅠ Fighting, ‘School 2013′~!!^^“. He attached photos of himself and Kangjun parodying scenes and dialogues from the drama.

In the photos, Ray and Kangjun are angrily grabbing at each other’s throats and they gradually make nice. They straighten out each others clothes, and then finally make a heart together with their hands. The line “We’re in the middle of making up” was spoken during the January 8th episode of ‘School 2013
