SHINee’s Key Drives Girls Crazy with His “Over Dance”

SHINee’s Key Drives Girls Crazy with His “Over Dance”
SHINee‘s Key recently displayed his “over dance” skills, which caused viewers to laugh.

On the episode of “Dream Team Season 2” that aired on May 12, SHINee’s Onew, Key, Minho and Taemin joined comedian No Woo Jin and Secret‘s Han Sun Hwa to visit a high school girl’s soccer team.

During the episode, Onew sang for one of the soccer team members with a sweet serenade. He even held her hand and gave her a hug, which made her quite giddy with happiness.

Another soccer team member revealed that Key was her favorite member and asked him for an “over dance” (meaning to “overdo” a certain dance to make it look stronger and more intense). Key granted her wish by doing a fantastic “over dance,” causing everyone to double up in laughter. Key even did a couple dance with the soccer athlete.

Meanwhile, the episode also shows how the SHINee members gave piggyback rides to the high school athletes while doing penalty kicks.

SHINee’s Key Colors Own Hair to Save Money

SHINee’s Key Colors Own Hair to Save Money
SHINee member Key is widely known as a fashionista who is not afraid to try new clothing and hair styles. As part of his unique look, Key has frequently changed hair colors, unafraid to stand out among the crowd with purple, blue, or even orange hair. Fans might have suspected that these frequent changes were costly but it seems that the singer is quite thrifty, coloring his own hair at home.

On the April 2 episode of SHINee’s ongoing special television series, “One Fine Day,” fans will be able to see Key show off his home-grown hair coloring skills. In this episode, Key returns to the guesthouse from a outing at a famous London shopping district and proceeds to dye his hair with a professionalism that shocks the surrounding female staff members.

When asked why he is so good at coloring hair, Key replied, “It’s expensive to dye hair at the hair salon. I have often dyed my own hair at home due to the inflexibility of prices at certain hair salons.”

SHINee’s Key explains he wasn’t using his phone on stage

SHINee‘s Key explained that he wasn’t slacking off on stage!

A screenshot of Key during one of the “Dream Girl” performances made it look like he was checking his phone while the other members were performing on stage. Even though it was obvious that a popular idol would never use a phone in the middle of a filmed performance, many people wondered what happened.

Key finally resolved those curiosities on ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘, where he revealed, “During the choreography, my mic pack fell out. I was wrapping the wire around it, and it looked like I was using my phone.

He also talked about how SHINee manage to get through various accidents on stage, commenting, ”If one person gets flustered from an on-stage accident, everyone gets flustered. We just try to act as natural as possible.

Key reveals TVXQ had to move around often

SHINee‘s Key revealed why TVXQ had to move all the time when the members used to live together in the same apartment.

Key was a guest on the March 1st installment of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Full House‘. Since space is at a premium in Seoul, most of the housing available are apartments. Unfortunately, residents who live near popular idols suffer from a lot of noise caused by fans. Keeping this in mind, the MC asked Key, “SHINee is currently dorming together, correct? A lot of fans must come to see you. It might get noisy…

Key answered, “We haven’t experienced a lot of that lately. But I heard that when TVXQ used to dorm together, so many fans came to visit them that they had to move around all the time. Since the members never knew when they’d have to move again, they didn’t even bother unpacking their belongings.

SHINee wants to be good role models for rookie artists

Backstage at KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘ on the 22nd, SHINee‘s Minho opened up about his group’s latest comeback.

Minho shared, “I think we came back with a bit of nervousness due to the pressure to excel. Although ['Dream Girl'] is good, it is more spectacular when you see it with the performance. I think more people will like it after seeing us perform. Rather than trying to go above people’s expectations, we are trying to show a new style of performance.”

To make up for SHINee’s 11-month hiatus, Minho shared his plans to be active in Korea until fans eventually get sick of him (if that’s ever possible) and revealed, “We plan to conduct many activities in Korea this year. I personally want to do a lot of it. We plan to perform in Korea until people get tired of us and say ‘why don’t you start performing overseas?”

Minho also wants to be a role model for rookie singers stating, “Upon seeing more and more rookie singers, I think to myself ‘I should work harder and show a better side’ so that we can hear that we’re good seniors and we want to be good role models.”

It seems SHINee have already accomplished their goal of becoming good examples by recently proving why they’re masters on stage.
