Sandeul is the next member up in new comeback photos from B1A4

Following the release of Jinyoung‘s comeback teaser photos, B1A4 has now released Sandeul‘s individual teaser photo as well as a pair shot!

The new photos of Sandeul caught the eyes of fans with his red locks and milky skin, while going preppy chic in fun prints. Just from looking at Jinyoung and Sandeul’s comeback photos, it seems the group will be going for a more casual concept than their previous comeback.

Their 4th mini-album “What’s Going On?“, is slated for a May 6th release, so stay tuned for the release of the rest of the group’s teaser photos coming soon!

B1A4 releases Jinyoung’s comeback teaser photos

B1A4 signaled to fans that they had something up their sleeves for April 23rd, and they’ve now announced their comeback!

Comeback teaser photos for Jinyoung released today reveal that the group will be going for a casual, street fashion concept. The photo below also shows Jinyoung standing next to who fans are saying is Gongchan. 

Their 4th mini-album, “What Happened?” (or also “What’s Going On?“), is slated for a May 6th release.

B1A4′s comeback confirmed for May!

B1A4 fans won’t have to wait much longer because the group’s comeback has been confirmed for next month!

WM Entertainment announced, “B1A4 will come back on May 6th. Their album and song will release on the same day, and B1A4 will be showing a side to themselves different than what they’ve shown before. They plan to have a different color than standard idols. Look forward to it.” The agency also added that teasers will start coming out this month.

CNU tweeted a photo of what looks like leader Jinyoung working on a song. 

He wrote, “No matter how many times I call him, he won’t answer“. This could mean good news for BANAs, as Jinyoung’s known for making a lot of B1A4′s title songs, such as “Baby I’m Sorry” and “Try to Walk“.

It’s only been about 3 months since their “Try to Walk” comeback. But WM Entertainment uploaded B1A4′s practice video for “Baby Goodnight” out of nowhere, which might mean that the boys are gearing up to officially come back into the public eye.

B1A4 to represent ‘Litmus’

In addition to renewing their endorsement contract with Hats On, B1A4 have landed another deal with casual clothing brand Litmus.

A representative from Litmus stated, “We look forward to seeing B1A4 representing our brand’s image with their individuality and healthy energy. We successfully concluded a photo shoot with B1A4 on February 7th at a studio in Seoul.”

With ’2013 spring/summer rhythmical’ set as the theme, the members went for a youthful and vibrant, stylish image.

B1A4 have racked up deals with school uniforms, hats, games, and sports brands, and according to their agency, they’re continuing to receive love calls from various beverage, ice cream, and mobile phone carrier companies.

B1A4 concludes their first solo concert series in Japan

B1A4 successfully wrapped up their first solo concert series in Japan in front of a total of 30,000 fans!

B1A4 held concerts at Kobe World Memorial Hall on January 26th-27th and at the Yokohama Arena on the 29th-30th. The group performed their hits “Beautiful Target“, “Baby Good Night“, “Baby I’m Sorry” as well as their Japanese tracks “Beautiful Lie” and “Tipping Point“, and more. The members also showed off their individual charms through their solo stages as well as a special music video segment.

B1A4 shared, “It is an honor for us to perform on a stage that we dreamed a lot about since before our debut and it is because of our fans that we were able to get this far. In order to return the love that all of you have given us, we will work harder and show a better side so please continue to watch over us.”

In other news, B1A4 will also be holding their first fan club opening celebration for BANAs at the Koryo University Hwajung Gym on February 16th.

B1A4 renews their endorsement contract with ‘Hats On’

B1A4 will serve as the endorsement models for ‘Hats On‘ for another year!

The group decided to renew their contract for 2013, making this the beginning of their second year with the hat brand. Together with B1A4, ‘Hats On’ will be taking on various promotions and continue their star marketing with help from the boys.

A representative stated, “We were able to create a remarkable synergy with B1A4 in 2012. In 2013, you can look forward to ‘Hats On’s style that will fit each member’s individual color.”

Who Wore it Better: B2ST’s Yoseob vs. B1A4′s Jinyoung

For this edition of WWIB, we’ve got two solo performers in fancy suits!

For the December 20 episode of ‘M! Countdown‘, B2ST‘s Yoseob wore a black and red suit with a white shirt and silver necklace to perform “Caffeine“. During B1A4‘s ‘BABA B1A4‘ concert in December, Jinyoung wore a similar suit for his solo performance of “Be My Girl“, along with a black mesh shirt.

These suits are very similar, but not identical- Yoseob’s is made of normal suiting material, while Jinyoung’s has a tone-on-tone lace overlay on the blazer. Jinyoung’s pocket flaps are set into the seam between the black and red parts of the jacket, while Yoseob’s pockets are set a little lower. Yoseob’s jacket has a high waist, probably to make his legs look longer and make him look taller, while Jinyoung’s jacket has a lower waist. Jinyoung’s suit also fits him notably looser than Yoseob’s.
