Block B held a press conference and showcase for their first album ‘Blockbuster‘ on the 17th.
All of the members participated, and the Block B members thanked the fans for their patience after the ‘Thailand Incident‘ that had caused them to abruptly drop promotions for their song “Nanrina“.
U-Kwon explained, “We
self-reflected for 8 months and did community service continuously. We
had gained a lot of popularity with ‘Nanrina’ and it could have gone to
our heads, but the event caused us to go back to how we were when we
first started. I realized how much of an effect that just one sentence
could have. We worked very hard to show a more mature side.”
Taeil also said, “Even
though we couldn’t show our good side, I’m thankful that our comeback
after 8 months is being so welcomed. I think the answer is to be great
on the stage.”
B-Bomb continued, “We
were able to look back on ourselves during the 8 months. We’re going to
go in with the mindset that this is the end (trying our best) and be
good to our fans who have been waiting for us for so long.“
