B2ST sings Junhyung’s self-produced song “Black Paradise” for ‘IRIS 2′ OST + MV released

B2ST woke up their sleeping B2UTYs with the release of Junhyung’s self-created song “Black Paradise” for the KBS 2TV drama ‘IRIS 2‘ OST!

“Black Paradise” is the third song released for the drama following Davichi‘s “Do You Not Know” and Noel‘s “What Is It Like“. Although fans got a short preview of the song on the February 21st broadcast as well as hint on the lyrics from Junhyung himself, the full song was kept under wraps until now!

Junhyung who also produced fellow member Yoseob‘s “Caffeine” teamed up with composer Kim Tae Joo to produce the song for his fellow member Doojoon‘s starring drama. The song breaks away from the typical OST songs you tend to hear in serious dramas with the addition of a hip hop feel.

B2ST will be supporting Doojoon‘s drama by releasing a track for ‘Iris 2‘.

Much like how Big Bang sung “Hallelujah” for T.O.P when he played the role of Vick on ‘Iris‘, B2ST will be coming together for Doojoon to sing “Black Paradise“.

Doojoon plays agent Seo Hyun Woo in ‘Iris 2‘, and he’s been showing off his trademark charisma combined with bright smiles on the drama.

B2ST’s ‘Selca Book by BEAST’ hits bestseller list

B2ST‘s photo book ‘Selca Book by BEAST‘ has hit the bestseller list soon after pre-orders started on the 13th KST.

The members of B2ST personally took selcas for the photo book during their day-to-day activities. They also wrote small messages to go along with each photo.

‘Selca Book by BEAST’, which contains around 500 images, is separated into the following chapters: ‘Unforgettable Moment’, ‘A Pleasant Memory’, ‘Joyful Days’, ‘Happiness Story’, ‘Thank You for Everything’, and ‘Until We Meet Again’.

The moment pre-orders started online, it rose to 2nd place on the bestseller list at Kyobo Bookstore. Pre-orders will close on the 20th KST.

With the photo above having been released earlier and drawing the interest of fans, along with a hint about a collaborative project, we’d all been eagerly guessing at what this new project may be for. And now we have our answer!

According to A Cube Entertainment the trio will be unveiling a new track, “One Year Ago“, right after 2013 hits on January 3rd.

“This project album, ‘One Year Ago’, that Hyunseung, Eunji, and Namjoo have participated in is ‘A Cube For Season‘s second album following after the first album with B2ST’s Yoseob and Eunji, ‘Love Day‘,” they revealed.

Photos of the three idols’ meeting have been keeping netizens guessing as to what the occasion was for. The only hint seems to be a cake on top of the table in front of them as well as presents.

HyunA and Hyunseung display their close friendship while backstage at MAMA

The December 6th airing of Mnet‘s ‘Wide Entertainment News‘ went behind the scenes at the ‘2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards‘. One segment of the behind the scenes footage focused in on HyunA and Hyunseung backstage.

The Troublemaker pair was awarded with the ‘Best Collaboration Award‘. While backstage, they shared a water bottle and even held their hands tightly together, sticking close to each other the entire time. The segment showed their strong teamwork and close friendship while a few viewers wondered if they were actually more than just friends.

B2ST display their classy charms for ’1st Look’

B2ST showed off their boyish, yet manly charms through ‘1st Look‘s recent photoshoot. Each members captivated the viewers with their alluring stares and natural poses while they pulled off fall and winter clothing in toned down shirts, knits, and jeans.

During the interview following the shoot, Doojoon shared that he was focusing on his acting career as he joined the cast of KBS drama ‘Iris 2‘ and a movie, ‘Marrying the Mafia 5 – Return of the Family‘, and also revealed that the members mostly experienced emotional changes during the three years since B2ST’s debut.

B2ST shared, “We found a lot of peace recently, and compared to when we first debuted, we are somewhat more relaxed. Of course we sometimes still get impatient and get flustered but it seems like the time is coming for us to comfortably express ourselves more. So these days, all of the activities are enjoyable.”

Dongwoon discussed the launch of his new career as a music actor by landing a lead role in ‘Catch Me If You Can‘. He also wanted to tell his fans, “In December, there must be people who get more lonely and also people who spend time being closer with their loved one and family. Although you may get cold and lonely, I want you guys to know that there are many people around you that care for you.”

Kikwang shared, “During concerts abroad, the scene of overseas fans getting over the language barrier and enjoying B2ST’s music was fresh and left an impression on me. Also, from being an MC on KBS‘ ‘Win Win‘ for two years, I learned a lot of ways to live life and become more optimistic by listening to many sunbaes’ stories.”

Hyunseung revealed that he wants 2013 to be the year for B2ST members to each give rise to their charms and talents, and Junhyung shared that the members resolved their conflicts through a group chat on their phones. He commented that 2012 has been a time for B2ST to mature and hopes that their maturity will bear fruit in 2013.

B2ST’s main vocalist, Yoseob, revealed that he takes care of his vocals with a liquid extracted from bellflower, and shared that B2ST will work hard to win the grand music award in 2013.

‘HEAD’ reveals new CFs featuring B2ST

Sports brand ‘HEAD‘ has released new CFs of B2ST, who have partnered up with them to promote their fall winter collection.

The new CFs feature two versions including a “black” version as well as a “white”. The black version features members Junhyung, Kikwang, and Dongwoon, while the white version is made up of members Hyunseung, Doojoon, and Yoseob.
