Go Jun Hee finally got to meet the idol of her dreams!

Even though 2AM‘s Jinwoon is her on-screen husband on ‘We Got Married‘, Go Jun Hee had stated multiple times that she was a huge fan of B1A4‘s Baro. 

On March 10, both Jinwoon and Go Jun Hee were guests on MBC‘s ‘Shindong’s Shim Shim Ta Pa‘. Shindong asked Go Jun Hee, “On ‘We Got Married‘, you’re obviously a fan of Baro. Do you know how old he is?“. Go Jun Hee answered confidently and correctly, “He was born in 1992.”

Jinwoon complained, “She keeps talking about other men.” Shindong asked Go Jun Hee, “You’d be more nervous meeting Baro for the first time than meeting your husband Jinwoon. YES or NO?“. Go Jun Hee immediately answered, “NO!“. However, Baro suddenly appeared in the studio right after that, startling her. Shindong repeated the question, and Go Jun Hee answered, “NO” again. However, the lie detector detected that she was lying, sending the studio into loud laughter.

SHINee charms with their full PV for “Fire”

SHINee is here to once again capture all your hearts with the release of the full PV for upcoming Japanese single “Fire“!

We already saw the shorter version before, but now the full version is here, adding more than a minute of footage to the previous clip!

As mentioned before, the title track for SHINee’s 7th Japanese single has the theme: “the determination of love that blazes up like a moment of flame.” Ishiwatari Junji wrote the lyrics, BACHLOGIC served as track-maker, and it was mixed by D.O.I.. For its coupling track, the single will include the song, “MOON RIVER WALTZ“.

“Fire” will be released in both limited and regular editions on March 13th. The limited edition DVD will contain two video clips for “Fire” as well as its making-of footage.

Boyfriend reveals short PV for “Hitomi no Melody”

Boyfriend will be releasing their 3rd Japanese single album a little later this month, but like typical of releases in Japan, they’re giving you a preview of what to expect through the short PV ahead of time!

Their title track is “Hitomi no Melody“, which has already been picked up as the ending theme song for anime ‘Detective Conan’. The song describes an innocent love for a precious person and should put a smile on your faces with its tune, even if you can’t understand the lyrics!

TEEN TOP and Indonesian idol group S4 collaborated on one stage for the upcoming broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank In Jakarta‘.

F.T. Island’s ’2012 TAKE FTISLAND IN SEOUL’ concert DVD tops charts in Taiwan and Japan

CNBLUE is not the only idol band getting love overseas.

Labelmate F.T. Island‘s concert DVD ‘2012 TAKE FTISLAND IN SEOUL‘ topped Taiwan’s ‘G-Music‘ audio and video charts and ‘Five Music‘ weekly chart for the first week of March as well as ranking #1 on various Japanese music charts.

The concert DVD shows highlights of F.T. Island’s live concert ‘TAKE FTISLAND‘ held last September and a total of 21 performances including their self-composed song “Life“, “Paper Plane“, “Compass“, “Let It Go!“, and “Wanna Go“.

F.T. Island will also release their 10th Japanese single “You Are My Life” on the 27th after holding a fan meeting at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A on the 17th.

SHINee’s Key thinks Minho is too nice for his own good

Minho is known for his chic and charismatic image, but fellow SHINee member Key reveals there is more to Minho than meets the eye.

On the upcoming episode of ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day‘, fans will get to see what Minho and Key are really like as they go on their vacation in London together.

During the trip, Minho especially caught the eyes of women with his model-like looks, tall height, and good manners. He also succumbed to Key’s wishes of going skating together, showing how nice Minho really is.

After unveiling a new logo, INFINITE‘s website has now been updated featuring the date of their comeback.

The website displayed that the date of their comeback is set for March 21, giving a potential heads up to other artists who were planning to release new material around that time to change their schedule accordingly.

No further pertinent information, such as title has been released per usual, but you can expect their website to give that information in the coming days.

TEEN TOP shakes it up during a conference

The ‘shake’ is not over yet for the boys of TEEN TOP!

The group has been shaking things up with the choreography for their new song “Miss Right” at various locations, and now they’ve brought it over to the conference room!

The boys pretend to listen to Niel saying something when he suddenly disappears under the desk – and of course the music starts and everyone starts doing the shake. The entire room bursts into movement, and the only thing standing still is the lone Elmo doll on the table.

MYNAME updates fans on their upcoming Japanese activities through live stream ‘MYNAME is MYNAME’

MYNAME held a live chat with fans through USTREAM entitled ‘MYNAME is MYNAME‘ on the 11th and updated fans on their future activities.

MYNAME successfully concluded their first solo concert ‘The Beginning‘ and shared how it felt to meet with their Korean fans stating, “It was really nice to spend such a long time with our fans up close. We are really thankful to the fans who came out to support us… We were also impressed by how the fans sent rice wreaths instead of flower wreaths. It was meaningful because we were able to join in on a good deed by donating the rice wreaths… Because the concert was a bit different from what we thought, we feel somewhat regretful that we couldn’t properly show everything we practiced for… Because it was our first concert, there were things we were lacking so we will show an even better image next time.”

The group also got Japanese fans hyped up, as they saddened their domestic fans, when they hinted at their upcoming schedules. “After our fan meetings in Daejun and Seoul are finished, we will complete our domestic promotions. We plan to focus on our Japanese concert and activities and we were also cast for a movie and will begin filming. We will not be able to meet you often like we do when we’re in Korea, so will consistently update you all through our fan cafe and social media.”

Hopefully the boys will return quicker to Korea than they did last time after they conclude promotions in Japan!

TEEN TOP to kick off first Asia tour in May

TEEN TOP, who visited their European fans with their 5-city Europe tour earlier this year, will be going on their first Asia tour since their debut this coming May!

T.O.P. Media confirmed, “Our domestic fans sent in requests for a solo concert, so all of the members are excited to finally hold a concert.”
TEEN TOP will kick off their tour at Korea University in Seoul on May 11th-12th, then move on to Kobe, Japan on the 18th, and Tokyo on the 21st-22nd.

To celebrate, Key posted a photo of all five members onto his new Instagram account with the caption, “YEAH!!!!!“. All five members are making crazy faces at the camera, starting from Onew‘s unsatisfied face on the left all the way to Key burying his face in the huge trophy.

DMTN’s Daniel steps down as an MC on ‘Pops in Seoul’

DMTN‘s Daniel will be stepping down as an MC on Arirang TV‘s ‘Pops in Seoul‘.

He’s been recently swept up in a marijuana scandal and his label said, “He is currently reflecting on his actions, he will be leaving ‘Pops in Seoul’, which he has been with for over a year.”

Following Daniel’s initial police investigation, DMTN’s label had commented, “We have not yet received the final ruling on Daniel’s involvement. However, Daniel wants to pay the consequences and carry out the punishment dealt to him for his wrongdoing… For the time being, we are currently looking for individual activities the members can carry out without Daniel. For the members who are currently already carrying out activities, they will be continuing with them.”

U-KISS and Yurisangja to star on upcoming ‘Immortal Song 2′ special!

Earlier this year in our prediction article, we’d hoped that U-KISS would get a chance to appear on ‘Immortal Song 2‘. Well, that hope has turned into reality as the boys will be starring on an upcoming special.

Both U-KISS and Yurisangja will be featured guests on the upcoming ‘Women Generation Special’. 

A representative from ‘Immortal Song 2′ stated, “U-KISS and Yurisangja will be guesting for the first time on the ‘Immortal Song’ Women Generation Special filming that will occur on the 18th. Their performance is a one-time special performance. Davichi, Narsha, and Yoon Hyung Ryul will also be featured on the show. The show will be centered around trot songs that the women of this generation like.”

Even though it’s not a permanent spot for them, hopefully this is a step in the right direction! The episode will be airing on the 30th.

So will there or will there not be individual activities for DMTN? Confusion solved + TVReport asked to change article

Yesterday, a Korean media outlet ‘TVReport‘ had posted an article with a statement from a rep of DMTN‘s agency, 2Works, that mentioned individual activities for the group’s members, with the exception of Daniel.

The article included a quote that had stated, “For the time being, we are currently looking for individual activities for the members with the exception of Daniel. The members currently carrying out activities will continue with them.”

However, after this Korean article was released and translated, DMTN’s official Google+ accused international Kpop news sites of “mistranslation“, and that they had never said there were going to be individual activities. Stressing “No individual activities (except Inati’s) will be held”, leading to confusion among fans.

It seems all this confusion came as those behind the official Google+ page were unaware of 2Works‘ rep’s quote reported in the Korean media. They apparently only became aware about the quoted statements in the TVReport article after their initial post and some fans had pointed this out to them in the comments.

Not too long after that, TVReport suddenly released a new article with the same exact title, same exact words, except for the removal of one sentence and the addition of a new one.

The removed sentence was none other than the one about looking for individual activities. Now that specific sentence has been replaced by another one, and the full sentence reads, “For the time being, it’s hard to make any decisions until Daniel’s trial is over. The members currently carrying out activities will continue with them.”

The administrators of the Google+ page then replied to a fan, commenting, “There must have been miscommunications. I just called the reporter and talked about the sentence. It will be revised soon.”

They then further stressed, “WE HAVE NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT GROUP ACTIVITIES WITHOUT DANNY EVEN HAVEN’T MENTIONED ABOUT IT,” and that they wouldn’t be updating their post to prevent fans from getting the wrong idea.

Thus, it seems with the exception of Inati, we will not be seeing temporary individual activities either from the members until everything has been settled.

B1A4′s CNU is a bathroom hog?

B1A4‘s Baro revealed that CNU is a bathroom hog.

Apparently, CNU decided to get extra squeaky clean and spent an hour in the bathroom showering, leaving his other members waiting.

Baro tweeted a photo of himself and Gongchan exhausted while waiting for the bathroom, writing, “CNU-hyung has been showering for the past hour. Come out already!”

The boys aren’t at their dorms, but at a hotel overseas for their promotions.

SHINee’s Key explains he wasn’t using his phone on stage

SHINee‘s Key explained that he wasn’t slacking off on stage!

A screenshot of Key during one of the “Dream Girl” performances made it look like he was checking his phone while the other members were performing on stage. Even though it was obvious that a popular idol would never use a phone in the middle of a filmed performance, many people wondered what happened.

Key finally resolved those curiosities on ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘, where he revealed, “During the choreography, my mic pack fell out. I was wrapping the wire around it, and it looked like I was using my phone.”

He also talked about how SHINee manage to get through various accidents on stage, commenting, ”If one person gets flustered from an on-stage accident, everyone gets flustered. We just try to act as natural as possible.”

It ended up being candy that the members personally handed out for their fans! They all wrote personalized messages onto the candy and handed them out to fans that were waiting to see them at ‘M! Countdown‘.

Kyung celebrated Block B‘s 700th day since debuting!

U-KISS’ Soohyun enrolls at Paichai University

U-KISS‘ Soohyun will be attending Paichai University!

He visited the school on March 12 and spent time eating and talking with professors and the school President. The professors gave him a tour of the campus, and they talked about how his college life would be. Soohyun was his usual charming and witty self even with the professors, and they liked him immediately and couldn’t stop laughing throughout their conversation. They also noted that Soohyun greeted everyone he met politely.



Soohyun also received a scholarship to the university. Photos of the leader of U-KISS visiting the college were uploaded onto the school’s blog and Twitter, where they shared, “Soohyun the leader of U-KISS, who was awarded the Hallyu Special Achievement Award from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism last year, has enrolled at our Paichai University. On March 12, Tuesday, he visited the school and spent a great time with the President and the professors. He looks even cooler up close in person. :D During the day, we introduced the school and talked about his future college life. We’re looking forward to him being a student at Paichai University! NU’EST members sing to a scarecrow in the PCC version of ‘Hello’

NU’EST had recently released a funny parody of their own music video for “Hello” and now they’re back again with another funny video.

The video is the promised PCC version from before, and the members all croon to a scarecrow dressed in NU’EST’s cheer clothing. Fans celebrate NU’EST’s 1 year anniversary + NU’EST sends video message

NU’EST‘s fans from all over the globe have donated rice to celebrate the boys’ 1 year anniversary since debut!

Fans from 15 countries, including England, France, Germany, Poland, Norway, Spain, USA, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, and Singapore came together to commemorate the boys’ first year. The 270 kgs (594 lbs) were donated at the International SOS Children’s Village to help the children in need.

The International SOS Children’s Village said, “NU’EST fans from all over the world sent us the rice, and their donation rice of love touched us. The children will be so happy. Please tell NU’EST and their fans that we are so thankful.”

U-KISS’ Soohyun celebrates his birthday

Soohyun from boy band U-KISS recently celebrated his 25th birthday, and despite being swamped with “Standing Still” promotions, his fellow members took some time to celebrate the leader on his big day!

“To our lovable leader Soohyun hyung!!!” Kiseop posted to his Twitter, along with a photo of a birthday cake. “Really truly congratulations for your birthday♡ I love you >_____<”

AJ also posted, “It’s our Shun-leader birthday?! ㅋㅋ Happy birthday! Don’t be sick and stay healthy!”

Kevin simply posted a hashtag that had been trending at #1 on Twitter earlier – #UKISSSoohyunDay. Meanwhile, Hoon posted another angle of the festive birthday cake, which featured a likeness of the birthday boy along with colorful letters that spelled out ‘SOOHYUN’. Eli kept his message short, simply saying, “Happy Birthday @ukissSH !!!!!^^”.
