Infinite debuted in Japan with BTD in November 2011. Even though it hadn′t been promoting the single, the group sold 30,000 copies in just three days.
Its next two single albums, Be Mine and She′s Back, also ranked high on the Oricon Charts.
The popularity allowed the group hold a series of arena concerts with a 74,000 audience across Yokohama, Nagoya, Kobe and Fukuoka from October 27 to November 22, proving the new status it enjoyed in the country.
One local media outlet voiced high anticipation, saying, "Infinite, which boasts perfect choreography, will be releasing a studio album for the first time since its debut a year and a half ago."
