Infinite will attend one of the biggest Asian music festival ‘Summer
Sonic 2012,’ which will be held on August 18 and 29 in Japan, as a K-pop
representative.
On July 4, Infinite’s agency said, “Infinite was cast in the festival
with actor Jang Keun Suk and Jaurim. Big Bang and SNSD attended the
festival in 2010 and 2011 and this year, Infinite will be the K-pop
representative.”
Infinite, who has become a trendy idol group in Korea and Japan,
ranked second on the Oricon weekly single chart with their second single
Be Mine.
The annual festival shows off their line up, which includes top
Japanese singers and international artists from all over the world. Seo
Taiji attended the festival in 2001 for the first time as a Korean
singer. Then Nell, Big Bang, BoA, and SNSD were invited to attend the
festival.
Green Day, Rihanna, and Jamiroquai will appear at the festival and give amazing performances this year.
